Mortgage Loan Processor

Schedule: Monday - Friday Flexible

Comments: Salary is $13.00 - $15.00 an hour.

Brief Description:

Responsible for providing processing and underwriting support for all mortgage loan processing activities. Receives, evaluates, and reviews loan applications for completeness, accuracy. Obtains and verifies necessary information and prepares documents for underwriting and closing review. Arranges flood zone certification as required. Communicates loan status to all involved parties including buyer, seller, realtor, and title company representatives. Obtains proof of insurance as required on mortgage loans. Assists or refers members as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Lending experience preferred.
  • One to two years of varied office experience.
  • Two to three years training as Mortgage Processor strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of related requirements, procedures, and underwriting criteria.
  • Understanding of mortgage loan processing functions, including FHA/VA and conventional lending.
