Follow these steps to log in and begin using this service:

Chat with us online for immediate assistance: AFCU Chat

  • Enter your personal information and click the Let's Chat button. Your first and last name is required to initiate a chat session.
  • After the chat session is established, the name of the member service representative who will be serving you will be displayed in the chat window.
  • Type your question or comment in the bottom text box and use your return key on your keyboard to submit the request.
  • A transcript of all questions and comments made during your conversation will be displayed in the main text box.
  • Click the End Chat button at any time to disconnect your chat session.

Chat FAQs

How secure is AFCU Chat?
AFCU Chat is as safe as using standard email to communicate with an America First representative; however, please refrain from sending account numbers or requesting changes to your account record when corresponding through this service. For these purposes, please use the Online Banking messaging system.

To whom am I communicating with through AFCU Chat?
America First representatives in our e-Services Support department are responsible for communications made through chat. These individuals have been trained to offer assistance on AFCU products and services, as well as technical issues and concerns.

What type of questions can I ask through AFCU Chat?
AFCU Chat is your personal connection to your credit union. Unlike email, which can take hours, even days before receiving an answer to an inquiry, chat allows you to ask questions and receive answers in real time. The following is a sample of questions currently being asked through chat:

  • What are your current auto rates?
  • How do I enroll in Direct Deposit?
  • How does Bill Pay (Payment Partner) exactly work?
  • How late is my branch open?
  • Will you help me log in to Online Banking?

Can I print the dialogue of my chat session?
All information typed in the chat window is printable by clicking the Print button. You can also highlight the dialogue using your mouse to copy and paste the text in a seperate document. This document can then be saved and/or printed.
