What is financial planning?
Financial planning is a process which helps you prepare your resources to meet your financial expectations. You may also share your data with a qualified MEMBERS Financial Services representative for more personalized assistance.
When is the appropriate time to start planning?
It is never too soon to start the planning process. Regardless of where you are in your life, proper financial planning can benefit you.
What do I need to use financial planning?
You will need your account number, Personal Identification Number (PIN), and a computer with Internet access. Online financial planning is a free service, accessible only through Web Access Internet Banking. After logging in to your account, click the Financial Planning link on the top navigation bar to begin using the service.
What kind of information can I expect from financial planning?
You will view charts, graphs, and other information comparing your financial situation to your future goals. For further assistance, you may choose to view additional advice about money management and investment options provided by CUNA Brokerage Services, Inc. You must first agree to CBSI's Terms of Service before you can view any Advice sections.
How often should I update my financial plan?
It is important to review your personal financial plan after significant life events. Events such as marriage or divorce affect your financial situation, and you'll benefit by making the necessary adjustments. And because financial planning is a free service, you may use the calculators and tools at any time.
What do I need to know to begin the financial planning process?
To begin planning for your financial goals, you will need a basic knowledge of your income and expenses. We suggest you gather documents including statements, pay stubs, and insurance policies that will assist you during the interview process.
Will my information be kept safe and confidential?
As a member of America First, you do not have to worry about the security and confidentiality of your personal information. We maintain strict policies and security controls to assure that your nonpublic, personal information is protected. Please refer to our privacy policy for additional information.
How long does it take to complete?
Depending on the planner you choose and the amount of information you are entering, the time required to complete the module will vary. Please note that a save feature is available and allows you to return at a later time and complete the planners at your convenience.
How much does this service cost?
Online financial planning is a free service from America First Credit Union. As soon as you receive your Personal Identification Number (PIN), you may log in to Web Access Internet Banking and begin to take full advantage.
