Switch Kit

Follow these three simple steps to make your switch:

STEP 1 - Open

Your first step is to become a member of America First Credit Union through opening your savings and FREE checking account. Once this account is in place, you have access to all credit union services, including FREE internet banking and bill pay, SpeechAccess telephone banking, and our low-rate loans. If you have not yet applied for membership, do so at any of our convenient branch locations, or online.

STEP 2 - Close

Close Other Accounts

Start closing down your old accounts. However, be sure to leave sufficient funds in those accounts long enough for outstanding transactions to clear. Once your final transactions have posted, you will want to close the old account completely.

STEP 3 - Make the change

Direct Deposit Request*

Use this form to notify your employer (or other source) to begin placing deposits in your new account.

Automatic Payments Change Request*

This form is to be sent to each of your current automatic payment vendors (utilities, mortgage, insurance, etc.) in order to commence having future payments deducted from your account.

Automatic Payment Cancellation Request*

Use this form if you wish to cancel a direct automatic payment being deducted from your old account.

*The forms we are providing you are generic. An employer/merchant may require a separate form or other documentation.
