How do you mobile bank?

iPhone and iPod Touch users:

  1. Get the App - Download the app via the Apple App Store. If you have the ability, scan the QR code in the left sidebar.
  2. Open the App
  3. Log in - First-time users must set up their security credentials via traditional Online Banking.

Compatibility: Requires iOS 4.3 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. The app is optimized for iPhone 5, iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c.

iPad users:

  1. Get the App - Download via the Apple App Store. If you have the ability, scan the QR code in the left sidebar.
  2. Open the App
  3. Log in - First-time users must set up their security credentials via traditional Online Banking.

Other smart phones

Whether you have the Mobile Banking app on your device or not, you can always use your mobile browser to access your accounts. And you'll be able to log in with the same Online Banking password or PIN.

After you register, we'll send a personalized Mobile Banking link to your phone. Be sure to bookmark it in your mobile browser.

If you misplace this personalized link, you can request a new one by selecting the Get a link to the Mobile Banking Web site option within the Mobile Banking section of Online Banking.

Also, you can navigate your mobile browser to https://mobile.americafirst.com/b/ to use the system.

Text Banking

Text message to MYAFCU (692328) and receive account information. When you register for Text Banking, you can select a nickname for each of your accounts. This can be used to retrieve histories and other functions.

Below are the commands for our Text Banking system:

  • BAL = account balance
  • HIST(space)Texting nickname = account history
  • ATM(space)Zip code = nearest ATM
  • BRANCH(space)Zip code = nearest branch
  • HELP = Mobile Banking help

Q: Is there a limit to the amount I can deposit through Mobile Deposit?

A: Yes, Mobile Deposit has a $5,000 per-day, per-account limit. This can be met with a single check or through multiple deposits. Checks written for more than $5,000 must be deposited at a branch or through a deposit-accepting ATM.

Q: What is required to use Mobile Banking?

A: You must log in to Online Banking and set up your answers to three security questions. After this process is complete, you can access Mobile Banking through the Android, iPhone or iPad applications, or through browser-based Mobile Banking.
