On March 16, 1939, 59 people met without fanfare at the Hotel Newhouse in Salt Lake City to form a small financial cooperative. The members of that group believed they would be stronger together, and that by pooling their resources they could create opportunities that would be unavailable to them individually.

Traditionally, I conclude my annual report on behalf of the America First Board of Directors with an expression of sincere appreciation to you, our valued members, and the credit union’s employee and leadership team.

The America First Supervisory Committee is appointed by the board of directors to independently evaluate the soundness of the credit union’s operations, enterprises, and governance by overseeing the external financial statement audit and internal audit activity.

A report of the previous year, including assets, member deposits, capital, and membership. This data is visually compared to the numbers from 2022 & 2023. This section also includes consolidated statements of operations and our financial position, listing earnings, expenses, liabilities, and member equity.

In accordance with America First bylaws, the Board of Directors Nominations Committee has identified three members who will stand for election by acclamation at the credit union’s Annual Meeting on April 16, 2024.
