Due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, members may find themselves in financially uncertain times. The America First Skip-A-Payment program allows you to skip* a qualifying loan payment and use that money for other needs.
And, as a service to our members during the current coronavirus pandemic, we are offering up to two months of skipped payments and waiving the standard $25 fee that is usually required.
To see if you qualify, simply:
America First is here to help you. We encourage you to contact one of our member service representatives to discuss your specific situation.
*Terms and conditions apply. Ineligible loans include but are not limited to long-term mortgages, personal & business lines of credit, and Visa® credit accounts. Interest will continue to accrue on the outstanding loan balance. Credit Insurance Premiums continue to be applied to the loan’s outstanding balance. If your loan has Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) Coverage, refer to your GAP contract for skip payment allowances. The loan’s scheduled payment date will resume the month after the skipped month(s). Skipping a payment may extend the repayment period of the loan. Please note that if your payment is made by an automatic transfer from another financial Institution, we will make every effort to cancel that transfer. If the skip payment request is completed after 3 p.m. (MT) Monday through Thursday on the business day prior to your due date/transfer date or completed after 3 p.m. on a Friday and your due date/transfer date falls on Monday or prior, we are unable to cancel the automatic transfer. However, if the aforementioned Monday is a holiday, any skip payment done after 3 p.m. on Friday would affect any transfer dates through Tuesday. In all of these cases, America First Credit Union will skip the following month’s automatic transfer due to your payment already being in process. Ask us for details.
See if you qualify for our Skip-a-Payment program if you need to get caught up on your bills or handle other small financial hiccups.
